I could not put it down, I just really really really liked this book.
I won’t give away any spoilers, but at the end I literally cried out:
“NO!!! YOU CAN’T END IT THERE JOHN!!!”
I could seriously empathise with Hazel at that moment.
I had so many TFIOS feels, I had to go for a walk just so that I wouldn’t be cooped up in the house with all the questions buzzing in my mind.
And I think that’s why I love John Green’s work so much. For that little moment in time, he opened up a window for us, into a world where words are more than just words.
I am definitely not a great writer. So it’s hard to express exactly what I mean,
